The voices behind Danny, a group of three energetic young women, playfully called "Danny's angels", are singers of today; vivid, versatile women with strong personalities, individual voices and stage performance.
Each of these skilled women have their own musical aims and dreams to work for as well singing the backing vocals and solonumbers in the Danny show.

Katja Lukin

Originally coming from northern part of Finland, Lapland. Katja lived her childhood surrounded by reindeers. Despite the long distance from Helsinki she found her way onto the Danny show and now she has already made her breakthrough in the field of Finnish music with song "Vitamiini".
All of her life she has been devoted to music, and her passion, she says, is Finnish music from the 60's but different rhythms are also close her heart -especially Latin rhythms. It is said that her style reminds people of Mary Osmond.

Nowadays Katja lives near Helsinki, in one of the oldest towns of Finland, Porvoo where she practises her training as a youth leader in her daily work as a teacher.
Her latest single "Ok!" was released on the 28th of September 2006. One couln't imagine better title for a song for this smiling and positive artistist.

Miina Mikkonen

Unlike Katja, Miina spent her childhood "right across the street", (which is to say, not that far from Helsinki) on the west coast of Finland, in Pori. Nevertheless, her musical career path has been long and full of challenges. Allready at an early age she was involved with music in several ways. Her first performance was at the age of four.

After the shock of first the performance she was later eager to learn more.

She has sung in different bands and is used to working with studio musicians and recording technicians0.
Miina's musical style could be described as reaching from modern rock to moving ballads. If one would like to go any further in descriping her style, one could say she is the "female Bon Jovi".
Miina is physically very active and she is a qualified physical training instructor and teacher which is also her daily work.

Her breaktroughs in the Finnish musical scene have followed one after another. Her first single "Jäätynyt maa" became a popular piece on the radio stations. The next two singles she released made their way to the top of charts.
Varpu Virta

Was born in Rauma which one can also locate on a map on the west coast of Finland. She studies at Turku University but at the moment she lives in Helsinki.

As long as she can remember, music and the arts have always played very important role in her life. "It was for me the only way I could really express and understand myself", she says. She was only five years old when she learned to play the piano by ear.

She studied music at the music school of Rauma and some years later she applied for a scholarship to the Berkley College of Music, Boston. The scholarship was granted.

In her early teens she was one of the founding members of a girlband which wasn't all that common at that time. She wrote allmost all the band's musical production.

Today she has over a three hundred songs of her own, some of which represent the kind of etnopop style today becoming a keyword, which paints before us a picture of the Middle Ages with a modern touch. Still she sings a lot of the 70-80's popular songs. This singer-song writer has been often compared to Donna Summer.

In addition to music, theater and the visual arts have also been essential part of her life. She has appeared in several plays and musicals, and danced and performed in numerous stages. She has been productive in art. For example as an project to one cruising ship, she painted the walls of childrens' room , worked for a software company as a graphics.
